Another 6 weeks......

Hello all......
Been a few weeks since the last post. Well, my son never did change his mind, and he went back to Michigan. I found out the reason why too. It was over a girl. Not only that, but a girl he had only been dating for about 2 weeks before he came down and was supposedly going to move here for good! I am still having a hard time with that, but not much I can do.
Last Friday was the day we took them home. It was a long drive. Not a bad one, just long. After we got home, I found a shirt that my youngest had forgotten. I smelled it, as most parents do, and it smelled like him. It made me a little sad, but, as always, not a lot I can do. We went to my parents house for a visit later that same afternoon and I had to go in their back yard to cry to myself. Didn't want to be in the house with everyone and have them making a big deal over it. My wife found me and knew what was wrong. I usually get a little upset when they have to go home every year, but I think with all of the shit going on with my oldest, it was much harder this year.
It really sucks form e having 3 boys that live just far enough away that I cannot see them every week. I hardly ever get to see them and I have missed out on most of their lives. Not totally because I get them for 6 weeks in the summer but the day to day things I never get.
Anyway, enough of my whining. This has been a sad few days, for me anyway. It is late and it is back to the grind tomorrow so, good night all and HAPPY SURFING..............................
