Catch up #1
I have titled this post Catch up #1 as it has been some time now since the last one and it will take more than one to catch up.
Since the last one, my daughter graduated high school in June. Unfortunately, that meant my ex and ex in-laws were here at my home for most of the graduation party. My ex, decided to stay in town for a few days and was here FAR more than she needed to be. I have found that over the years since our split, she has no cuth. She came in my house like she lived here and sat around with her shoes off and all that happy shit. I was never more happy to see the tail end of her van driving away.
After that, things were going pretty good until just after the summer visit with my boys when the state decided that they awere going to take child support directly out of my paycheck. That was a punch in the gut. We fought thru the first month and got our finances straightened out and was doing good for a while.
As everyone is aware, the economy is still not doing so well. Gas prices have settled back down and you would think that was going to fix the issues. Yeah, didn't happen that way. So now we are in the last quarter of the year and things are getting worse still. At the company I work for, there have been several lay-offs happening. Some of them permanent.
I will get back to this next time.............probably tonight as it is pushing 3am now. Remind myself to start with the president of our company taking over the department I WAS working in. Later all..................happy surfing.
