Anniversary To Never Forget

I am sure there are people that have been in this same situation but I never thought...........

Yesterday was my 7th wedding anniversary. We actually celebrated it on Saturday by having an early lunch out and going to see the new Harry Potter (Half-Blood Prince). As it would happen, my grandmother passed on my wedding anniversary. She has been ill for a while now but never in my life did I imagine I would be sharing what is supposed to be a celebration, with the passing of my grandmother.

When we found out, it was about bedtime for my daughter, who is now 2. It was a matter of hours at the time. We told her that we needed to leave and go see grandma because she was sick. Her first response was, "can I give her a kisses and hugs?"

What else can I say..................

What Do I Say?

Well, back into the swing of work now. Not enjoying it by any means, but it has become my life again. Get up with my wife and daughter around 6:15 am and get my daughter ready for daycare. That is not totally true as she has began to shun me. Probably from not seeing her and not being home because I am on SECOND FUCKING SHIFT!!!!!!!!!! Help get my wifes stuff ready so they can leave before 7 am.
I eat and mull around the house or play a couple video games until around 9 or 9:30am. I work out for about an hour and do what ever chores I need to do like cut grass or do dishes and clean a little around the house. Get a shower and eat lunch and then start getting ready for FUCKING work.
Normally get home between 11:30 and midnight. Check my e-mail play a round or 2 of Call of Duty 4 and go to bed, usually around 1 or 1:30 am and then start over again @ 6:15am.
Did I mention that I hate my job? Yeah it sucks having to do manual labor for 8 hours straight. Not that I am a stranger to hard work but, I am 40 with a college education and plenty of skills to do many other things. With the economy right now, i am stuck in this shithole being told what to do every night.
Anyway, having a LAN Party @ my house this weekend. Hope it will help with the frustrations of work I have to endure every other night.
